Socialization is defined as the process by which individuals learn knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and behaviors, which allows individuals to participate as members of the society they live in. This article will highlight the benefits of socialization for visual impairments, with some suggestions on how to promote socialization for visually impaired or legally blind people.
