After 7″ handheld video magnifier Snow 7 HD reached the Deaf-blind Support Fund in Russia, and being a present to an Austrian charity organization Schule macht Schule, Zoomax Snow 7 HD again became an assistive device to Blind Citizens Australia.
Blind Citizens Australia, the united voice of Australians who are blind or vision impaired, which was formed in June 1975, constantly focuses the mission to achieve equity and equality by their empowerment. Up to now, BCA has over 3,000 individual members covering every state and territory and grows steadily.
This time, BCA joined Zoomax “Better Vision” Program and cooperated with Zoomax providing an opportunity for more visually impaired people in the institution to enjoy independent life with Zoomax Snow 7 HD. And about the Snow 7 HD, the President of BCA Tweed Valley Branch, Suzanne Hudson, mentioned in her feedback, “I’m sure it will be very handy for our clients” together with their sincere gratitude. The Vice President of BCA Tweed Valley Branch, Rhonda Jones, added:
“We will now get the product up & running & learn all about what the Snow 7HD is capable of and how it can help our members.”
Zoomax “Better Vision” program, since it started in 2016, has received wide concern and high praise from organizations globally. More than 19 institutions have received donations from Zoomax; over 21 magnifiers have been delivered. The participating institutions include non-profit institutions, international aid agencies and some other schools for special needs, covering the area of North America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
In 2017, Zoomax will still engage in the charitable work supporting the visually impaired globally by providing free low vision aids.
